The Porter Cable 7539 is a well-engineered 3 1/4 horsepower, 5 speed plunge router. It is quite easily one of the most powerful, reliable, and accurate routers on the market today.

I have used a lot of Pocket Hole Jigs for wood joinery in cabinetry projects throughout the years. Recently, I decided to try out the new Porter Cable 560 Quick Jig. I heard a lot about this jig from my co-workers. One day at work I saw one of my friends working with the Porter Cable Quick Jig and he was drilling pockets so quick that he was working faster than our side of the project. That got my attention!
Right off, I noticed that the construction of the Porter Cable Quick Jig is heavy-duty. I think this jig can handle anything you can throw its way! The Quick Jigs base plate was made out of aluminum. The added weight seems to help the jig to stay in place. This jig seems ideal for drilling pocket holes in field scenarios. I found this jig very useful for creating the face frames for the cabinets we were working on.
The Porter-Cable 560 Quickjig uses a built-in drill bit collar set-up that doesn’t need to be modified for different thicknesses materials. There is also an indicator that will show the proper screw size to use in the pocket. The Porter Cable Pocket Hole Jig has an automatic depth control that facilitates quick set-up for different materials and a quick adjust feature to quickly re-clamp material for multiple pockets of the same width material.
